Placement Tips for Your Forio Curtain

Cover the Full Surface — And Then Some
Forio works best when it doesn’t just match the surface you’re treating, but extends a bit past it on both sides. That extra overlap cuts down on exposed gaps, which means less sound bouncing back into the room and a stronger overall acoustic effect.

Using It Near a Radiator
Forio can hang right next to a radiator as long as air can still flow freely. If you’re mounting it above one, leave about 1–2 in. of clearance so warm air isn’t trapped — the curtain keeps absorbing sound just as well either way.
A properly placed Forio curtain gives you cleaner sound and a more comfortable room without getting in the way of how the room actually functions.

Get the Fullness Right
For the best results, order the curtain at least 2 to 2.5 times wider than the surface it’s covering. More fabric means denser folds, and denser folds mean better sound absorption and a more balanced acoustic environment

Curtain weight is based on the linear meter of fabric: 1 linear meter (55 in.) weighs 720 g (about 1.6 lb). A weight variance of 5–15% is normal.
Once a custom order is paid for, it can no longer be modified or canceled.
Ordered color swatches may vary slightly from the actual curtain color, as well as from the colors shown on screen.
A minor color difference between the curtain and its matching cushion cover is possible.
Because of natural variation in manufacturing over time, color can differ slightly between separate orders, even for the same shade.
Every curtain is made to your individual specifications, which makes it a one-of-a-kind product — we’re not able to buy it back or accept returns.
